Our Journey
A group of insightful students had a dream eight years ago - to organize an MUN conference of such reach, impact, and magnitude that it would completely revolutionize academic simulations across the globe. Today, that dream is known as Seth Anandram Jaipuria Model United Nations (SAJMUN).
SAJMUN has become a hallmark of finesse, a legacy of distinction, and a landmark of excellence. It is more than just an academic simulation; it represents the ideation, innovation, and dedication of today's youth. SAJMUN has successfully exceeded our initial expectations in these parameters, with the SAJMUN team witnessing an escalating graph each year.
Initially, SAJMUN was a one-day intra-school event aimed at highlighting the importance of peaceful negotiation and pacific resolution of disputes in everyday life. It aimed to foster a sense of responsibility, an understanding of leadership skills, and teamwork. SAJMUN was founded on the principles of awareness, expression, exposure, and erudition.
Today, it can be concluded that SAJMUN has, in each edition, successfully upheld the virtues on which it was built. It is strictly an academic simulation, devoid of unnecessary glamour. Each year, SAJMUN offers more with a plethora of diverse committees, ranging from conventional ones like the United Nations Security Council to unconventional ones like the crisis committee, each equipped with unique agendas.
Participation in Seth Anandram Jaipuria School is garnished with the spirit of making the world a better place. It inevitably makes one more pragmatic by widening their spectrum and receptivity.
