The Integrated Strategy, frayed at the seams,
Governance weakened, justice in dreams.

In accordance with R2P’s doctrine,
May there be no room left for the benign,
And Themis’ scales of order align.
The Lomé Declaration—once a bright covenant, clear in its plea,
That power must be exchanged through ballots, not draconian decree—
Now flickers and fades amidst the reigning spree.

Indiscriminate takeovers, power unchained,
Hollow mandates, legitimacy strained.
Unstable institutions, sovereignty betrayed,
Foreign entanglements recklessly swayed.
Resolutions drafted yet left to decay,
As the Bamako Process fades into gray.

With this, ladies and gentlemen, we bring to you the clarion call,
To rewrite a world where empires fall.
The United Nations Security Council stands,
To break the cycle with steady hands.
